While on a rock climbing journey across South East Asia, Caelen King encountered a situation where he required a minor medical procedure. However, he soon realized he lacked information on where to go, the expected costs, and how to identify a trustworthy clinic recommended by previous patients. At that moment, he considered it normal given he was a visitor in a foreign country, lacking local insights or friends to consult. Caelen located a clinic as best as he could and proceeded with the treatment.
Yet, a few years later, upon his return to Turkey, he encountered a nearly identical situation. Even in his home country, obtaining essential information such as location, services, pricing, and feedback proved challenging. Not one to let a valuable idea go to waste, WhatClinic.com came into existence.
